Infinite Yet Caring
The God who created everything—every mountain, every ocean, every star in the night sky—this same God knows your name. He knows your story. He sees you right now, and He cares deeply about you.
This might seem impossible: how could the Creator of the entire universe care about individual people? But this is what the Bible teaches: although God has infinite existence, power, and wisdom, He is personally concerned with each of us. Not as insignificant specks, but as people He created and deeply loves.
In the Beginning, Everything Was Perfect
The Bible—the ancient collection of texts that tells the story of God and humanity—begins with creation. When God made the world, the text says “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.” Perfect, actually.
Imagine a world without death, disease, or suffering. No hatred, no violence, no betrayal. The first two people, Adam and Eve, lived in a beautiful garden and walked with God himself. They talked with Him. They knew Him personally. The infinite Creator had intimate friendship with the people He made.
This is what God wanted for humanity. A place where people could create, love, and live freely while enjoying a close relationship with Him.
But something went terribly wrong.
Humanity Chose to Disobey
God gave Adam and Eve complete freedom with just one boundary: don’t eat from one specific tree. It was a test of trust. Would they trust that God knew what was best?
They didn’t. Influenced by an evil spiritual being (described as a serpent), they ignored God’s instruction. They decided they knew better than their Creator. And in that moment, everything broke.
Here’s the painful truth: every human being since then has done the same thing. We’ve all chosen to go our own way rather than God’s way. An ancient letter in the Bible says it plainly: “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Every single person has rebelled against God in some way.
After they disobeyed, Adam and Eve hid from God. They covered themselves and ran into the bushes, unable to face the One who had given them everything. They felt ashamed, guilty, afraid.
And we’re still hiding. We hide behind our achievements, our distractions, our defenses. We keep our distance from God, convinced that if He really knew us—really saw what we’ve done and thought—He couldn’t possibly love us.
But There Is Hope
Here’s the unexpected turn: even as Adam and Eve hid in shame, God came looking for them. “Where are you?” He called. The infinite Creator, searching for two rebels who had just betrayed Him. And He’s been pursuing humanity ever since.
This leads to the most famous sentence in the entire Bible: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
God didn’t abandon us. Instead, He sent Jesus—his own Son, who is also somehow God himself in human form. Jesus came to earth about 2,000 years ago and lived the perfect life we could never live. He never disobeyed God. Not once.
Then he died on a Roman cross, taking the punishment that our rebellion deserved. He died in our place. But death couldn’t hold him. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead—proving he had defeated sin, death, and judgment itself.
Now God offers us what we could never earn: complete forgiveness, adoption into his family, eternal life, and what Adam and Eve lost—an intimate, personal relationship with our Creator.
Come As You Are
Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
The invitation is simple: Come to me.
Not “fix yourself first.” Not “become a better person, then come.” Just come. Come as you are—tired, burdened, ashamed, broken. Come with all your failures and regrets.
Many people think they need to improve themselves before God will accept them. But that’s not how it works. We come to Jesus to be changed, not because we’ve already changed. It’s like going to a doctor—you don’t get healthy first and then go see the doctor. You go because you’re sick, so they can heal you.
The infinite God who created everything wants to walk with you. Not because you’re perfect (no one is), but because Jesus made a way. He wants to free you from hiding, to lift the burden of shame and guilt, to give you rest.
At MachLabs, we believe that when we design, build, and create, we reflect something of the Creator who made us. But we can only truly flourish when we’re walking in relationship with him. God doesn’t want to watch you from a distance. He wants to walk with you, just as He once walked with humanity in that perfect garden.
Perhaps you’re reading this because something in your heart is stirring. Perhaps you’ve been keeping God at a distance and you’re tired of it. Perhaps you’re curious whether this ancient story could actually be true and relevant to your life today.
If that’s you, then know this: today can be the day everything changes. You can stop hiding, believe that Jesus died and rose again for you, and step into a relationship with the God who made you, knows you, and loves you infinitely.
He’s been pursuing you all along, just as he pursued Adam and Eve in the garden.
The question is: are you ready to stop running?
